Its been in the news recently that Sainsbury were in talks of taking on £130 million takeover of grocery wholesaler Nisa. The guardian reported exclusively that the deal did end last week  due to growing concerns over a similar merger between Tesco and booker.

The Nisa chairman , Peter Hartley, commented that Sainsbury’s still have interested in the offer but don’t fully know the direction they wish take with the business. The supermarket giant are wanting to tap into the convince market because the current trend.  Consumers seem to be shopping less and choosing to go more to there local convenience store.
